Another idea:
Pull together weather data from one of the surrey weather stations and create a chart (monthly, yearly?) of highs/lows, sunny/cloudy.
Add to that a moon phase chart and it's a ye olde almanacke.
I think I looked into it once and it seemed difficult.
Get informed with links and events through the @SouthofFraser Twitter account. A wide variety of sources are constantly perused and filtered for stories about communities South of the Fraser River.
