Three companies in the Top 100 Public Companies in BC are South of the Fraser River

Two in Delta, one in Langley

Every year Business in Vancouver newspaper ranks the Top 100 Public Companies in B.C. by revenue.

Although it's hardly a perfect proxy for greatness, it does give a sense of where money is flowing. Looking at where these companies are located also gives a sense where the economic hubs of the province are.

The Top 100 public companies in B.C. in 2013 has three companies South of the Fraser River. Two are in Delta, one in Langley. None in Surrey. Most are, as you'd expect, in Vancouver.

Introduction

Info on South of the Fraser River: Surrey, Delta, White Rock, City of Langley, Township of Langley, Fort Langley. Maybe a bit of Abbotsford, just for fun.

This site is experimental. See About (top right) for more, or Blog for meta-information. The working goal is to create an almanac of items, tidbits of information and methods of gathering information.

Right now the site is biased to just south of the Fraser River, within the northern reaches of great City of Surrey, but there is some foraging further afield.
